YSDF18 tickets on sale

Tickets for the 2018 Yorkshire Schools Dance Festival are now on sale and can be purchased through the Festival website. Tickets are priced at £7 adult and £6 child (plus a booking fee).

Over the course of both weekends a total audience of around 2600 people will watch around 1200 young performers. The youngest dancer will be just 4 and the eldest 19.

As well as being a fantastic event, YSDF is about promoting and highlighting progression in dance and theres a great range of experience and ability to inspire all ages. They'll be travelling from places as far afield as Hull, Skipton and Doncaster. You can view a map showing where they're all from; 58 schools and groups over the two weekends. Each group will have developed a piece in response to our 2018 theme, 'Changes'. You can watch last year's video or view the trailer for 2018 to get a taste of what to expect.

It's not just a chance for families to share the achievements of their nearest and dearest, it's also an opportunity to celebrate the talent and creativity of children and young people across Yorkshire. The event will be attended by the Lord Mayor of York and civic party.

The event often sells out and we advise purchasing tickets early.

YSDF18 is supported by York College, Yorkshire Education and the York & North Yorkshire Dance Hub
