BY CAR:

We recommend drivers approach the University from the junction of the A64 and A1079 on the east of the city. The University is signposted. Car parking is FREE.

 

Car park South (275 spaces) is RECOMMENDED - Use YO10 5NJ if using sat-nav

 

 There are 3 additional car parks:

• Car park Central - 80 spaces

• Car park West - 70 spaces

• Car park North (a little further away) - 279 spaces

Limited signage will be on display to direct vehicles to Car park South. Please do not park in any areas not classified as car parks or on the side of access roads.

Disabled Parking

Special 'Drivers with Disabilities Only' parking bays are provided within each main car park and at locations close to Central Hall. These spaces are dedicated for the use of vehicles displaying a Blue or Orange Badge.

BY BUS:

There are buses from the city centre approximately every 5 minutes during the day. It takes around 20 minutes to reach the campus.  For more information on public transport, please visit http://www.itravelyork.info
